Join local psychotherapist, Kristen Carney, for an afternoon of connection, mindfulness exercises, and guided gentle movement to help support your mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Participants will learn about the benefits of mindfulness and engage in practical tools for responding to difficult emotions with curiosity, compassion, and presence.
Please wear comfortable clothing.

Kristen Carney is a licensed Clinical Social Worker, educator, and facilitator with certifications in somatic psychotherapy and perinatal mental health. Over the span of her career, Kristen has worked in various capacities in higher education, including Student Affairs and college counselor roles at the University of Detroit Mercy and the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. She currently serves as an adjunct faculty at Wayne State University’s School of Social Work, works as a solo practitioner, and owns a therapy and consulting business, Marigold Mental Health, LLC, where she supports women and nonbinary individuals in building healthy self perception, connection, and confidence.
