A SPACE FOR GROWTH AND SUPPORT in the heart of Midtown Detroit’s Cultural Center, BasBlue occupies a historic 12,000 sq. foot house which was resurrected from abandonment to provide dynamic, flexible, collaborative meeting rooms, a wellness area, a bar, a lactation room, event spaces, and other amenities emerging leaders need to thrive.
BasBlue is dedicated to inclusivity, diversity, and the belief that we are stronger when working and growing together. Join our growing community of phenomenal women and non-binary individuals as we host a variety of member-exclusive programs, member meet-ups, as well as networking and mentorship opportunities.
Established in October 2021, BasBlue is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing economic mobility by providing valuable resources for personal and professional developmental growth to underrepresented and under-resourced women and nonbinary individuals in Southeast Michigan. BasBlue’s work is made possible through The BasBlue Foundation, our in-house foundation which provides direct support for our programs.
BasBlue offers empowering programs, wellness initiatives, professional development opportunities, and a home away from home for nearly 700 members, the majority of whom are women of color. To the general public, BasBlue offers collaborative gathering space in our café, bimonthly events, and the opportunity to participate in our transformational impact programs.
