Your Heritage House Reunion

Join us for an afternoon celebration of the legacy of Your Heritage House (YHH)! 

Founded by Josephine Love, a trailblazing woman of her time, Your Heritage House was an art school and museum serving Detroit’s youth. Your Heritage House served not only as a space for children to learn about arts and culture, but also served as a space for the community to gather and appreciate their children's work in the company of local and nationally recognized artists. 

During this program, guests will be warmly welcomed to network with Your Heritage House alumni and local community members, followed by an enlightening tour of the building led by a BasBlue team member and YHH Alum. Finally, the program will conclude with a thought-provoking conversation with Malika Pryor, Chief Learning and Engagement Officer at the International African American Museum, on the history of Your Heritage House.
