Meet Chef Nora

"Food is everything we are. It's an extension of nationalist feeling, ethnic feeling, your personal history, your province, your region, your tribe, your grandma. It's inseparable from those from the get-go."

 Anthony Bourdain

Marhaba, I am Chef Nora, the head chef and founder of Beirut Belly.

Growing up around my Lebanese family, especially my grandmothers, has inspired me greatly to continue their legacy in cooking delicious authentic Lebanese food. As a child, I watched my grandmothers collect fresh ingredients, cook with love and passion, and share meals with friends and family. These were the best memories for me and is the reason why I am a chef today.

Food has always been synonymous with culture. Cooking is my favorite way of representing my culture as a Lebanese.

I started Beirut Belly about 7 years ago and has been more than a business for me. It's an opportunity to share and experience with people a taste of my culinary background. I believe food is medicine and my passion is to continue to create delicious healthy traditional Lebanese food.

I can't wait to share my food with you!
