Soul Squeeze Cellars is on the Leelanau Peninsula, it came from the owners’ experience with the challenges of growing grapes.
Co-owners Luke and Faye Pickelman started planting grapes about 12 years ago. They came from the professional world — he was a lawyer, and she was an accountant — and found farming to be a very different venture.
As an official wine partner of the Pistons, Soul Squeeze Cellars produces award-winning Michigan wines that help showcase what our great state has to offer. Together, the Pistons and Soul Squeeze present the Motor City Squeeze, a crisp Michigan sparkling wine with citrus notes, a touch of sweetness and minerality...rhythmic, like a Piston fastbreak, and perfect for enjoying a game, hanging out in the Motor City, or exploring Northwest Michigan.
The wine tastings are complimentary for members and a guest. BasBlue team members will be available to take orders for wine sales on-site, and members can pick up and purchase their selections from a BasBlue team member at the bar.
